At La Tercia, we take great pride in cultivating century-old Airén and Tempranillo vineyards—an invaluable heritage passed down from our grandparents and our greatest treasure. These venerable vines, deeply rooted in our family’s rich winemaking tradition, are the very essence of our legacy. Airen
A white grape variety typical of La Mancha, eco-sustainable and adapted to extremely dry and hot climates. It produces a large, loose cluster of yellow grapes with medium-thickness skins, soft pulp, and colorless juice. It requires short pruning and yields aromatic wines with moderate acidity.
tempranillo
A red grape variety that has adapted to our region over the years. The cluster is compact and cylindrical, often with two wings, composed of round, medium-sized berries with a blue-black color and garnet pulp. It requires long pruning and produces wines with red fruit aromas, highly recommended for aging in oak barrels.
Winery
The traditional structure of the winery is integrated within an old, typical La Mancha farmhouse over 100 years old, preserving every tool and traditional mechanism used in winemaking.
